SunCon counts on more contracts abroad


SunCon hopes to secure one more job from Myanmar this year after having secured orderbook replenishment worth RM1.5bil from several new contracts since the start of the year.

PETALING JAYA: While things may be slower on the homefront, Sunway Construction Group Bhd (SunCon) is banking on more jobs from overseas such as in Myanmar where it recently formed a joint venture with Capital Construction Ltd.

According to UOB Kay Hian, SunCon hopes to secure one more job from Myanmar this year after having secured orderbook replenishment worth RM1.5bil from several new contracts since the start of the year.
