EYEBROW-RAISING related-party transactions (RPTs) are not new to Genting Malaysia Bhd (GenM).

Still, the market was caught by surprise when the casino-and-hotel operator announced on Tuesday that it would be buying over a huge portion of Tan Sri Lim Kok Thay’s stake in a loss-making gaming and entertainment operator in the US.
