KUALA LUMPUR: The outlook for the Chinese renminbi will depend mainly on trade and technology tensions with the US, S&P Global Ratings said.
The move of the renminbi through 7.00 is consistent with China's exchange rate policy framework of the last two years or so, the rating agency said in a report published on Wednesday titled "China's Renminbi Moves Beyond 7."
