Quick take: Public Bank shares down as funds continue to reduce stakes


Nomura has a buy call with a target price of RM26.10 and Kenanga Research a market perform with a TP of RM24.10 while JP Morgan is neutral with a TP of RM23. AmImvestment Research has a buy and TP of RM25.

KUALA LUMPUR: Shares of Public Bank fell to a low of RM21.22 on Wednesday on sustained fund selling though analysts were steady on its outlook ahead of the release of its second quarter results this month.

At 11.05am, it was down 32 sen to RM21.28 and the share price is at the lowest since Feb 22 this year. Year-to-date, it is down RM3.48 or 14.05%.
