Tenaga advances, Public Bank, HLBank down as market cautious

KUALA LUMPUR: Tenaga Nasional’s strong performance early Wednesday was not enough to halt the slide on Bursa Malaysia as Public Bank and Hong Leong Bank came under continued profit taking while trading in RHB Bank was halted for a corporate announcement.

At 9.12am, the FBM KLCI was down 3.79 points or 0.23% to 1,638.90. Turnover was 218.07 million shares valued at RM99.87mil. There were 134 gainers, 162 losers and 220 counters unchanged.
