Fortis Healthcare Ltd is anticipating a better performance in its first-quarter result ended June 2019 amid a disciplined effort in executing its turnaround plan following the emergence of IHH Healthcare Bhd as its single largest shareholder in November last year.

KUALA LUMPUR: Fortis Healthcare Ltd is seeing the results from a disciplined effort in executing its turnaround plan following the emergence of IHH Healthcare Bhd as its single largest shareholder in November last year.

Its managing director and chief executive officer Dr Ashutosh Raghuvanshi said the Indian hospital operator expects an increase in the occupancy rates of its hospitals, which currently hovers at 66 per cent.
