Alliance Bank to focus on SME, consumer banking

KUALA LUMPUR: The investment banking industry is not easy business and opportunities are somewhat limited at the moment.

Alliance Bank Malaysia Bhd chief executive officer Joel Kornreich said this while declining to comment on talk that the lender, the smallest in the country, may be paring down its stake in its wholly owned subsidiary, Alliance Investment Bank Bhd (AIBB).
