Foreign investors expected to be cautious this week amid uncertainty


Bank Islam Malaysia Bhd chief economist Mohd Afzanizam Abdul Rashid said foreign investors would likely be very selective over their asset allocation, given the prospect of lower US interest rate coupled with the possible escalation of the US-China trade war.

KUALA LUMPUR: The current net foreign selling will likely to continue next week with investors adopting a wait-and-see attitude weighed by the uncertain external development especially the outcomes from the US Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meeting.
