TA Investment declares 2.5 sen distribution for TA Growth Fund

KUALA LUMPUR: TA Investment Management Bhd has declared a gross income distribution of 2.50 sen for TA Growth Fund to the registered unit holders of the fund as at June 28.

In a statement, TA Investment said it was treacherous to stay highly invested in any risk assets as US President Donald Trump weaponised tariffs to upend the global rules of international trade.

Nonetheless, fund manager is uncertain of the final outcome and outlook could change overnight based on the actions of these two economic giants.

“Our fund manager strategy is to remain cautious at all times and wait for the right opportunity to invest,” TA Investment said.

“The Malaysian market should stand out in such volatile environment as a low beta market with decent yield. Malaysia in particular has been a laggard, and hence downside risk is expected to be lesser compared to potential upside. Key themes would likely be corporate changes or restructuring and pump priming initiatives to encourage economic growth,” it said.

TA Growth Fund aims to achieve steady income and capital growth over the medium to long term period, to its Unit holders by investing in the strong economic growth of the country.
