Dominic Silva appointed CEO of MIDF Amanah Investment Bank


In a statement, MIDF Group said Silva was a well-known corporate figure and had worked in the areas of banking, finance and investments, strategic management, business building and financial sector development, cross-border investing, risk and portfolio management, and corporate restructuring.

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian Industrial Development Finance Bhd has apponted Datuk Dominic Silva as CEO of MIDF Amanah Investment Bank, effective today.

He had served as the deputy CEO of MIDF Amanah Investment Bank since Jan 7 this year.

Previously, Dominic was head of investments and an executive director at Khazanah Nasional Bhd.

Prior to that, he spent 18 years working for international banking institutions in KL, Singapore, Amsterdam and Hong Kong. 

He served on the boards of Astro Holdings Sdn Bhd (Malaysia), various banks and companies in the CIMB Group, the Infrastructure Development Finance Co Limited of India and several other notable organisations.

Meanwhile, the investment bank also appointed Ahmad Gazzara Czillich as co-head of debt markets.

According to MIDF, another senior investment banker with wide corporate finance experience is expected to join the coporate finance team in the next month.
