Astro net profit up slightly


PETALING JAYA: Astro Malaysia Holdings Bhd began its financial year of 2020 (FY20) with a marginal net profit growth of 0.84% year-on-year (y-o-y) in the first quarter, although revenue declined by 5.84% y-o-y.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the pay-TV operator said its earnings in the February to April 2019 period increased to RM176.2mil from RM174.73mil in the previous corresponding quarter.
