UEM Sunrise’s move lauded


In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, UEM Sunrise, the master developer of Iskandar Puteri, said the conditions precedent to the SSA were satisfied yesterday.

PETALING JAYA: UEM Sunrise Bhd’s move to reduce its exposure in Desaru due to the long gestation period and weak market sentiment in Johor has been viewed positively by analysts.

The property developer announced last Friday that it would be downsizing its residential development in Desaru from about 680 acres to 228 acres.
