Bursa sees largest weekly foreign net outflow in nine weeks


This was achieved as the FBM KLCI staged a steady rebound after the Government unveiled more solid measures to strengthen the economy. At 5pm, the index was up 21.34 points or 1.24% to 1,740.62.

KUALA LUMPUR: Foreign funds upped their ante in net selling activiti last week, extending the selling streak on Bursa Malaysia to the seventh week, according to MIDF Research.

“Based on data from Bursa, foreign funds sold RM450.9mil net of local equities last week, the largest weekly foreign net outflow in nine weeks,” MIDF said in its weekly fund flow report.
