PETALING JAYA: Malaysian Pacific Industries Bhd (MPI) is a beneficiary of the expected surge in demand for radio frequency (RF) components, driven by the commercialisation of 5G network in China by 2020.

CGS-CIMB, in a research report, said growth would be derived from the group’s subsidiary Carsem Semiconductor Suzhou (CSZ), the flagship plant for RF components.
