KUALA LUMPUR: New York-based financial services group MetLife Inc is expected to create over 80 new high value jobs for Malaysians through the setting of a centre of excellence (CoE) in Kuala Lumpur.
The jobs would be primarily in actuarial services, information technology and accounting, InvestKL said in a statement today.
The investment promotion agency said International Trade and Industry Minister Darell Leiking visited MetLife’s headquarters in New York on Tuesday, along with InvestKL chief executive officer (CEO) Datuk Zainal Amanshah and Malaysian Investment Development Authority CEO Datuk Azman Mahmud, as part of the six-day trade and investment mission to the United States beginning April 1.
“We are pleased to have a renowned brand like MetLife expanding their presence in Malaysia,” said Darrel. — Bernama
