KUALA LUMPUR: Veteran investment banker Datuk Kong Sooi Lin has been appointed as an independent and non-executive director of Eco World International Bhd (EWI), effective yesterday.

EWI said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia that Kong was with CIMB Group Holdings Bhd for 25 years until her retirement from CIMB Investment Bank as its chief executive officer in March 2019.
