Eastspring said that following the bout of market volatility in 2018, investor sentiment in the Asian credit market experienced a strong turnaround in recent months.
KUALA LUMPUR: Eastspring Investments Bhd has announced a gross income distribution of 0.0331 sen per unit for Eastspring Investments Dana al-Ilham and 0.0285 sen per unit for Eastspring Investments Dana al-Islah.
The leading asset manager said Dana al-Ilham and Dana al-Islah recorded a dividend yield of five per cent and four per cent respectively.
In a statement today, it said unit holders, who had maintained their unit holdings in the funds as at March 15, 2019 are entitled to the income distribution.
As of Dec 31, 2018, Eastspring Investments managed over US$193 billion of assets of behalf institutional and retail clients in 11 major markets.
Meanwhile, it managed over RM39.3 billion of assets in Malaysia as of Dec 31, 2018. - Bernama
