Malaysia recorded a slight increase in the labour force participation rate at 68.6% while the unemployment rate remained at 3.3% in January 2019.

IN less than two months, the Pakatan Harapan government will complete its first year in office. But it may not have that much time to celebrate.

The domestic economy is continuing to slow down. Gross domestic product (GDP) growth stood at 6.2% in the third quarter of 2017 but shrank to 4.7% in the fourth quarter.
