MBC returns to black after 3 years


In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, MBC said it posted earnings of RM263.84mil compared with a net loss of RM134.95mil in the previous year.

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian Bulk Carriers Bhd (MBC) returned to the black in the financial year ended Dec 31, 2018 (FY18), after three years of losses, mainly due to the gain on disposal of a loss-making associate and the reduced share of loss.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, MBC said it posted earnings of RM263.84mil compared with a net loss of RM134.95mil in the previous year.
