Shopee, FPX collaborate to upskill online business owners

KUALA LUMPUR: Shopee Malaysia, via Shopee University, is partnering with online payment solution FPX to upskill online business owners to enable them to sell effectively on the Shopee platform.

Shopee head of operations Esten Mok said the collaboration would offer up to 10 online video tutorials to help business owners optimise and grow their business on Shopee.

“Initiatives like these are in line with our brand’s long-term strategy to empower more Malaysians to capitalise on the booming e-commerce trend.

“This includes improving the lives of those in the B40 (low-income) group by encouraging them to have multiple sources of income,” he told reporters after the signing ceremony of the collaboration here today.

Launched in 2016, Shopee University is a dedicated workshop for those who are keen to learn more about how to start selling on a mobile commerce platform and master the art of selling on Shopee.
