KUALA LUMPUR: The Securities Commission (SC) is reviewing eight recommendations to spur the venture capital (VC) industry including making public VCs more commercially driven and  liberalisation of VC tax incentives.

The two were among the eight recommendations proposed by the Institute for Capital Market Research (ICMR) to boost and synchronise the industry, the SC said in a statement on Monday.
