RWLV, Wynn Resorts resolve design dispute

According to UOB Kay Hian Research, the increased interest in the stock in recent weeks could be related to speculation that the group had reached a compromise with 20th Century Fox, paving the way for the opening of its outdoor theme park.

KUALA LUMPUR: Resorts World Las Vegas (RWLV) and Wynn Resorts have reached a settlement on a dispute involving trade dress and copyright infringement claims surrounding the design of the US$4bil RWLV project.

In a joint statement, Genting senior vice president of public affairs and development Michael Levoff said: “Genting’s Resorts World Las Vegas project will be the launching point for the next generation of integrated resorts, and the aesthetics of the project will play an important role in its future success.”
