KNM gets RM28m contract from Technip-Samsung Eng JV


In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, KNM said the purchase orders from Amsterdam-based Single Buoy Moorings Inc was for the Liza Unity-FPSO engineering, procurement, construction and installation project in the Starbroek block in Guyana, South America. KUALA LUMPUR: KNM Group Bhd's unit has secured a US$6.83mil (RM28.17mil) contract to supply  large carbon steel pressure vessels to  Technip-Samsung Engineering's joint venture company, TTSJV WLL.

KNM said on Wednesday its unit KNM Process Systems Sdn Bhd had received the letter of award  dated Jan 11 to supply the vessels over 13 months.

“The award is expected to contribute positively to KNM Group’s earnings for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2019 and Dec 31, 2020,” it said.

TTSJV WLL is a jointly owned company incorporated in Bahrain by Technip group of companies and Samsung Engineering Co. Ltd.
