Muzmi is CEO of TH Plantations

The pilgrimage fund announced yesterday that it had recorded RM1.3bil in revenue during the six-month period, generated primarily from fixed-income asset investments (RM663mil), real estate investments (RM292mil) and Islamic money market instruments (RM199mil).

PETALING JAYA: TH Plantations Bhd, the plantation arm of Lembaga Tabung Haji, has named Muzmi Mohamed as its new chief executive officer (CEO).

Muzmi’s appointment takes effect from February 11, according to a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday.

Prior to this appointment, Muzmi, 53, was the deputy CEO of Malaysian Kuwaiti Investment Co Sdn Bhd, a joint-venture company between the governments of Malaysia and Kuwait.

Muzmi succeeds Datuk Seri Zainal Azwar Zainal Aminuddin, who resigned from TH Plantations on Aug 20 last year.

Zainal resigned as CEO of TH Plantations a week after being asked to go on garden leave.
