DMSB relocates, expands Ipoh 3S centre to support rapid growth

The chief executive of one victim, depositor Saigonbank Berjaya Securities JSC (SBBS) - a unit of Malaysia's Berjaya Corporation Bhd - told Reuters that if the ruling was upheld, she had little hope of recouping her bank's $10 million from the perpetrator, who was sentenced to life imprisonment. "We can't afford to lose the case. This represents 70 percent of our capital. Our business may get suspended," Josephine Yei said in an interview.

KUALA LUMPUR: Daihatsu (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (DMSB) has relocated and expanded its 3S Centre in Ipoh, Perak, which offers sales, aftersales service and spare parts, to support rapid growth.

The authorised dealer of Hino Motors Sales (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (HMSM) in a statement today said its former outlet, which opened in August this year, saw service intakes double month-on-month with the implementation of its Culture of Continuous Improvement initiatives or known as KAIZEN.

Executive Director Makoto Ogawa said the new 84,942 sq. ft. (7,891.4 sq. m.) outlet, equipped with 11 bays and three hoists, will be a catalyst in accelerating its business while accommodating rapid growth.

“One of the main considerations of this new outlet is to better represent the Hino brand to our valued customers. This is key to ensure that our image reflects our position because that is how a brand remains relevant,” he said in a statement.

DMSB has been servicing Hino trucks and buses since 2010 with eight outlets and six authorised service centres nationwide. - Bernama
