PNB net income for Jan-Nov at RM15.3b, says Zeti


Tan Sri Dr Zeti Akhtar Aziz hoped that consumers will continue to enjoy cheaper products following the move by the government to zero-rate the Goods and Services Tax (GST).

Kuala Lumpur: Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB) has sustained its financial performance in 2018 with assets under management increasing 6.8% to RM295.2bil.

The proforma net income of PNB and its unit trust funds were RM15.3bil for the first 11 months of the financial year, said group chairman Tan Sri Zeti Akhtar Aziz.

In announcing the year-to-date PNB progress update and income distribution for ASB and ASN today, Zeti said PNB continues to uphold investors confidence by delivering competitive returns for its unit holders with total payout of RM15.1bil across all funds in 2018. 

During the year, PNB remained focus on diversifying its portfolio assets, relocating more cash into fixed income and global assets.
