Cagamas’ combined issuances hit RM15.8bil this year


Cagamas Bhd president and CEO Datuk Chung Chee Leong said:

KUALA LUMPUR: The National Mortgage Corporation of Malaysia, Cagamas Bhd,  announced a combined issuance of RM1.4bil bonds and sukuk, bringing the total issuance for 2018 to RM15.8bil, which surpassed its initial target.

The latest issuance of RM1.4bil comprises RM800mil Conventional Medium-Term Notes (CMTNs), RM400mil Islamic Medium Term-Notes (IMTNs), RM100mil Conventional Commercial Papers(CCPs) and RM100mil Islamic Commercial Papers (ICPs).
