Prestariang CEO has board’s backing to stay on


KUALA LUMPUR: Prestariang Bhd’s president and group chief executive officer (CEO) Abu Hasan Ismail has his board’s backing to stay on at the helm, even after he lost his entire stake in the company due to margin call.

“On behalf of the board, we affirm our support for Dr Abu Hasan and are confident in his ability to continue to lead the Prestariang as the president and group CEO,” the company said in a statement on Tuesday.
