PETALING JAYA: Construction outfit TRC Synergy Bhd has won its largest contract year-to-date worth RM500mil from Putrajaya Holdings Sdn Bhd, the master developer of Putrajaya, for the construction and completion of an integrated development project at Precinct 8, Putrajaya.

The RM498.7mil job, won by TRC’s wholly-owned subsidiary Trans Resources Corp Sdn Bhd, swells the construction company’s order book to RM3bil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, TRC Synergy said the project involves the construction of the project over a duration of 57 months, comprises residential towers, podium block, retail space, serviced apartments, common facilities, high street, facilities block for serviced apartments, facility floor, show gallery, event hall, promenade, basement as well as elevated parking and other ancillary works.

“We are pleased to have secured TRC Synergy’s single largest contract win in 2018. This is a fitting testament to the trust and confidence that the Group has gained, given our more than three decades of track record for many prominent clients in the construction industry. This latest project underscores the calibre of our people and the quality of work that we consistently deliver,” said TRC Synergy managing director Tan Sri Sufri Mohd Zin.

“The group continues to deliver a resilient performance and a sustainable growth despite the challenging business environment in the domestic construction sector.
