KUALA LUMPUR: JF Apex Research expects TRC Synergy Bhd , Tadmax Resources Bhd , Computer Forms (Malaysia) Bhd, Utusan Melayu (Malaysia) Bhd and Parkson Holdings Bhd to be among the stocks to watch on Wednesday.
TRC Synergy has been awarded almost RM500mil contract to develop an integrated development in Putrajaya.
Tadmax's CEO has been paring down his stake from 26.4% to 17.1% recently.
Computer Forms saw Tan Sri Robert Tan's takeover offer being raised to RM1.35 from RM1.25.
Utusan is selling a shop lot in Petaling Jaya for RM7mil and Parkson's Singapore-listed subsidiary has been placed under the exchange's watch list due to low trading price.
Meanwhile, US markets plunged overnight following concerns of an economic slowdown.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 799.36 points, or 3.1 percent, to close at 25,027.07 and posted its worst day since Oct. 10.
The S&P 500 declined 3.2 percent to close at 2,700.06.
Earlier, European stocks declined due to doubts over the US-China trade truce.
“Following the bearish performance in global markets, the FBM KLCI is expected to decline towards its support of 1,660 points,” JF Apex said.
