Reach Energy shares surge on oil discovery


KUALA LUMPUR: Shares in Reach Energy Bhd have spiked in early trade Tuesday over the discovery of oil at its exploration well North Kariman-3 (NK-3).

The counter rose 6.15%, two sen to 34.5 sen. It is one of the most active counters with 1.72 million shares done. Reach-WA gained 6.25%, or 0.5 sen to 8.5 sen.
