Lodin stepping down from Boustead, BHIC, Pharmaniaga


Tan Sri Lodin Wok Kamaruddin envisaged that CPO prices would soften as a result of rising palm oil production, which was projected to outpace consumption.

KUALA LUMPUR: Tan Sri Che Lodin Wok Kamaruddin is stepping down as the group managing director of Boustead Holdings Bhd.

He is also stepping down as chairman of Boustead Heavy Industries Corporations Bhd (BHIC) and Pharmaniaga Bhd.

Lodin's depature from the companies will take effect from Dec 31, 2018.

Boustead, BHIC and Pharmaniaga announced to Bursa Malaysia on Friday the reason for Lodin's departure was an “early mutual termination agreement”.

Lodin, 69, has been the group managing director of Boustead Holdings since 1991. He was also the deputy chairman since 2010.

He was the chief executive of the superannuation fund Lembaga Tabung Angkatan Tentera (LTAT) or Armed Forces Fund Board from 1985 to Sept 2018. He was its deputy general manager in 1983.
