Disposal gain lifts Nova MSC Q2 earnings


In its filings with Bursa Malaysia, Yong Tai said its wholly-owned subsidiary YTB Impression Sdn Bhd terminated the deal due to non-fulfilment of the condition precedent as stated in clause 3.1(c) of the joint development agreement. Yong Tai fell half a sen to close at 32.5 sen yesterday.

PETALING JAYA: Nova MSC Bhd posted a net profit of RM8.04mil in the second quarter ended Sept 30, mainly due to a gain on disposal of RM6.9mil, higher delivery of third party product cost and stronger sales orders.

The revenue in the second quarter rose 20.33% year-on-year to RM11.38mil, the company said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia on Wednesday.
