MyEG ventures into Indonesia


The company, in a filing with Bursa Malaysia, said Wong(pic) had acquired 142,000 shares via the open market yesterday, bringing his direct stake in the company to 4.667%. His indirect interest in the company stands at 20.2%, via Asia Internet Holdings Sdn Bhd, which is the single largest shareholder in Eforce.

PETALING JAYA: MyEG Services Bhd has made its maiden entry into the Indonesian e-government service via a strategic parnership.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, the company said it had signed a memorandum of understanding to buy a 40% stake in Indonesian-based e-government service provider PT Cartenz Technology Indonesia for US$10mil (RM42mil).
