Thong quits from two positions in Insas

Scomi Group Bhd surprised investors when it proposed to revise its current issued share capital reduction from RM224.96mil to RM3mil from the earlier RM40mil.

PETALING JAYA: The executive deputy chairman and CEO of Insas Bhd, Datuk Seri Thong Kok Khee, is stepping down from both his positions in the company.

The group, in a filing with the stock exchange, said it had accepted Thong’s decision to step down “for personal reasons” with effect from Feb 28, 2019.
