Scomi Group Bhd surprised investors when it proposed to revise its current issued share capital reduction from RM224.96mil to RM3mil from the earlier RM40mil.

, Datuk Seri Thong Kok Khee, is stepping down from both his positions in the company.
The group, in a filing with the stock exchange, said it had accepted Thong’s decision to step down “for personal reasons” with effect from Feb 28, 2019.
