Flybe in takeover talks as high oil price weighs on profit

LONDON: Flybe Group Plc said it’s in takeover talks with several parties as the rising cost of oil crimps earnings at Britain’s biggest provider of domestic flights.

The Exeter, England-based company is in discussions with “a number of strategic operators about a potential sale,” it said in a statement, without naming any of them.
