Azmin: We certainly welcome investments from China.
KUALA LUMPUR: Foreign direct investments (FDIs) from any country including China are welcome and they must benefit the Malaysian people, said Economic Affairs Minister Datuk Seri Azmin Ali.
Speaking at the launch of the joint report on the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and South-East Asia by CIMB Asean Research Institute (CARI), Azmin said that the value of Chinese investments in Malaysia amounted to US$134bil last year.
