NZ Wheels Klang Autohaus opens body and paint facility

Devaraju: NZ Wheels uses Mercedes-Benz approved tools and equipment from Germany.

KLANG: NZ Wheels Sdn Bhd, an authorised dealer for Mercedes-Benz in Malaysia, has added a new RM2mil body and paint facility to its existing NZ Wheels Klang Autohaus 3S centre.

The services provided by the body and paint facility includes welding, dry sanding, infrared dryers, Glasurit water-based paints and a dedicated aluminium repair bay.

With the opening of the new facility, Naza Corp Holding deputy group executive officer (automotive group) R. Devaraju said the centre could easily handle around 1,000 vehicles per month.

“Other than to provide more services for our customers, we also want to give our customers greater confidence and a more complete brand experience with NZ Wheels,” he added.

He assured that there is no difference in quality, workmanship and materials used between NZ Wheels and other Mercedes-Benz Malaysia dealers.

Devaraju said NZ Wheels uses Mercedes-Benz approved tools and equipment from Germany and that its technicians had been well trained as well.

For the future, Devaraju revealed that a certified Mercedes-Benz pre-owned standalone centre will be added to its Johor Autohaus by the end of the year.

Devaraju also said that plans are underway to enhance the facilities of NZ Wheels’ centre in Bangsar next year, but declined to give details.

“For customers who have purchased their Mercedes-Benz vehicle from our Bangsar sales outlet, they are able to leave their vehicle there where we will transport it here to our Klang Autohaus to be serviced before returning it.

“This is the service that we have been providing to our customers.”

The RM6mil NZ Wheels Klang Autohaus 3S centre officially opened with an AMG Performance Centre in February and currently fronts the latest Mercedes-Benz Presentation System II Autohaus concept.
