PASIR GUDANG: United Malayan Land Bhd’s (UMLand) wholly-owned subsidiary Seri Alam Properties Sdn Bhd has about 323.74ha of undeveloped land in Bandar Seri Alam here.

Seri Alam Properties senior general manager Frankie Tan Kat How said most of the land is located in the northern part of the 1,347ha township, near the Town Park 1 precinct.

“The remaining land will keep us busy for the next 10 to 15 years before the township is fully developed,’’ he told reporters at the agreement signing ceremony on new tenants for the Seri Alam Mall.

The signing ceremony was witnessed by Johor Women Development and Tourism Committee chairman Liow Cai Tung.

The tenants are TGV Cinemas, Village Grocer Supermarket, Bread Talk, Toast Box, Morganfield’s, Gogirou Korean BBQ, Macgregor’s Irish Pub and Romatika Home Décor.

Work on the RM100mil mall with 46,000 sq m of space and over 1,000 parking lots is expected to start in the first-quarter of 2019, with completion targeted by the first quarter of 2021.

Tan said the developments plans for the remaining 323.74ha undeveloped land included landed residential properties, high-rise apartment, commercial properties and a stand-alone retail complex.

“Our focus is still on residential properties with an average price of between RM500,000 and RM600,000, as residential properties with this pricing are selling well in Bandar Seri Alam,’’ he said.
