KLUANG: LG Electronics Malaysia plans to open at least 20 more LG stores nationwide by the year 2020, in addition to its existing 27 stores.
Its managing director Kim Kyu Tae said LG expects to open seven new stores by year-end. “In total we will have 34 stores nationwide by the end of this year.
“We are also planning at least another two store-in-store (SIS) in key cities over the next two years.
“The SIS outlet is important because some of our customers want to experience our products first-hand. They want to know how they work, for example our OLED TV and our twin-wash washing machine,” he told newsmen after the opening of LG’s first brand shop here.
“This is our first SIS in Kluang and the seventh outlet in Johor. We are committed to deliver unique experiences to our customers through technology, lifestyle and smart innovations,” he said.
Kim said the LG SIS would give customers the chance to interact with the products.
“The SIS is a new experience and a needed addition to the neighbourhood of Kluang,” he added.
