Kerjaya Prospek develops mixed projects worth RM1.1bil

As the value of the company is tied to the performance of the company, it is in the interest of the warring shareholders to argue and fight outside the company.

KUALA LUMPUR: Kerjaya Prospek Property Sdn Bhd is developing a mixed development project with a gross development value of RM1.1 billion in Old Klang Road, expected to be launched in the first quarter of 2019.

Executive Chairman Datuk Tee Eng Ho said the project, sprawled over 2.10 hectares and slated for completion in 2022, would consist of the 276-room "Courtyard by Marriott", two towers of 68-storey service apartments and offices.

“We are proud to collaborate with Marriott International to operate the "Courtyard" component.

It will not only enhance the group's reputation in the property industry, but bring more life and character to our very own exclusive mixed development project in Kuala Lumpur.

“This would inevitably build the community and investors' confidence in Kerjaya Group, as we continue to make a name for ourselves in the property segment, apart from being one of the leading construction players in the country,” he told reporters after the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) between Kerjaya Prospek and Marriott International here today.

With the MoC, Marriott International would operate Courtyard by Marriott under a 10-year  contract while Kerjaya Prospek would design and construct the proposed mixed development project.

“Aside from the ten-year contract period, Marriott International would also provide technical consultation for the development, design, as well as, develop marketing and branding strategies for the hotel,” Tee added. - Bernama
