Apple signs US$600mil deal with Dialog Semiconductor


Stathakopoulos repeated Apple's statements to the press that it never found malicious chips or vulnerabilities purposely planted in any server or been contacted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) about such concerns.

LONDON: Apple Inc has signed a deal with Dialog Semiconductor Plc to license the UK chip designer’s power management technology and acquire certain assets, including more than 300 employees.

Apple will pay Dialog an initial US$300mil plus an additional US$300mil for product delivery over the next few years.
