KUALA LUMPUR: Shares of Willowglen MSC Bhd gained 7% in early trade Monday after the company secured a RM139.36mil contract.
The computer integrated systems design company rose four sen, or 7.08% to 60.5 sen with 1.84 million shares traded.
Willowglen has secured a RM139.36mil contract in relation to the Gemas-Johor Bahru electrified double-track project.
Willowglen said its wholly-owned subsidiary, Willowglen (M) Sdn Bhd, was awarded the contract by Syarikat Pembenaan Yeoh Tiong Lay Sdn Bhd for the construction and maintenance of the communication systems for the electrified railway project.
The work is expected to be completed by April 2021.
