Eversendai secures new projects worth RM404mil


Its job scope for the contract involves supplying concrete cement and metal for the upgrading of the Train Cargo Terminal at Padang Besar, Perlis, Dolphin said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.

KUALA LUMPUR: Eversendai Corp Bhd has secured four new projects worth a combined RM404mil, bringing its total project wins to-date to RM1.12bil

In a statement, Eversendai said the new projects include the construction of a glass roof structure in Dubai, the structural steel fabrication and construction package for a combined cycle gas power plant project in Malaysia and the construction award of a 45-story high-rise residential tower in Mumbai.

Meanwhile, the company's oil and gas sector secured a project to fabricate and assemble leg sections for the Offshore Wind Installation Jack Up Vessel (Deme Innovation) located in Europe.

According to the group, its outstanding order book stood at RM2.37bil as at June 30, 2018.

“We are constantly looking into expanding and developing the Group’s business and knowledge-base by undertaking highly complex structural projects, ensuring on-time delivery, without compromising on safety and quality," said Tan Sri A K Nathan, executive chairman and group managing director of Eversendai.

At 12.30pm, the stock was trading 0.5 sen or 0.67% lower at 74 sen a share on the back of 191,600 shares done.
