Loss making plantation firm PinePac share trade halted pending announcement

KUALA LUMPUR: The trading of shares in Pinehill Pacific Bhd (PinePac) will be suspended on Friday to make way for a material announcement, the company said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.

PinePac posted a loss of RM26mil on revenue of RM24mil in the financial year ended June 30, 2018. The company’s plantation area stands at approximately 4,000 hectares in Malaysia and 40,180 hectares of land for planting of oil palm in West Kalimantan, Indonesia.
