Bursa suspends short-selling on Coastal Contracts

KUALA LUMPUR: Proprietary day trading and intra-day short-selling in Coastal Contracts Bhd has been suspended for the rest of the day as its share price has dropped below Bursa Malaysia's daily limits.

The counter dropped as much as 20 sen or 18% to 90 sen in morning trade, breaching the stock exchange's 15 sen or 15% limit.  

At 12.15am, the counter was trading 12 sen lower to 98 sen on volume of 454,900 shares.
