PETALING JAYA: IOI Properties Group Bhd is cautiously optimistic about its current year prospects after earnings in the last quarter ended June 30 fell by more than a fifth on lower sales.

It expects contribution from overseas – led by projects in China – to rebound in the coming quarters. Net profit at IOI Properties during the three months under review declined 21% to RM265mil on turnover of RM674mil.
