KUALA LUMPUR: Dagang Nexchange Bhd’s unit, DNeX Solutions Sdn Bhd, has secured a RM8.6 million sub-contract for hardware equipment and information and communications technology (ICT) facilities for niversiti Putra Malaysia’s teaching hospital.
The sub-contract, awarded by Aim Concept Sdn Bhd, would commence in August and be completed in three months, it said in a statement.
Under the project, DNeX would be responsible for the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of hardware equipment and ICT systems for such components as active network equipment for networking system, and office automation, it added.
In addition, the project scope also included ICT Training Centre/Computer Lab and Facilities, library and facilities, telephone equipment and integration works with existing ICT facilities.
“We are pleased to be given the opportunity to undertake the implementation of the hardware equipment and ICT facilities project for Universiti Putra Malaysia’s teaching hospital,” Executive Deputy Chairman Datuk Samsul Husin was quoted as saying in the statement.
Backed by its IT Solutioning experience that covers full project management, from design and build to installation and commissioning, DNeX was confident of delivering set requirements for the project, he said.
