Malaysia Airlines offers up to 40% discount on airfares

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia Airlines Bhd is offering up to 40 per cent discount to customers on air tickets to selected destinations during its first-ever Malaysia Airlines Travelicious Deals (MATD) between Aug 14 and Aug 20.

Group Chief Revenue Officer Ignatius Ong said Malaysia Airlines is committed towards providing great travel deals paired with Malaysian Hospitality to all its customers.

“The MATD provides an opportunity for travellers to explore some of our best destinations, along with superior in-flight service, at no additional or hidden cost,” he said in a statement.

The airline is also offering a wide range of travel perks including discounts on seat selection or extra baggage allowance and up to 10 per cent  off on luxury items offered by Malaysia Airlines’ in-flight duty free line, Temptations.

During this campaign period, all-inclusive return fares on economy class  from as low as RM409 to Yangon, from RM469 to Surabaya, from RM709 to Hong Kong and from RM769 to Manila are up for grabs, among other deals.
