KKB secures wellhead platform contract from Petronas Carigali


The 20-year contract secured by its unit Metro Parking Management Philippines Inc would also include the construction of an additional 208-bays of steel deck parking structure in MBP - a bustling business hub in the affluent suburb near Alabang Town Centre, one of Metro Manila

KUALA LUMPUR: KKB Engineering Bhd's subsidiary has received a contract by Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd for the construction of wellhead platforms for the D18 Phase 2 project.

OceanMight Sdn Bhd received the contract, which is for a period of about 27 months, of which 15 months are for works execution and 12 months are the warranty period.

"The scope for the Contract shall be Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Transportation, Installation and Commissioning of D18 JT-D Wellhead Platform. The detailed scope of works is specified in the Contract documentation between OMSB and PETRONAS Carigali," said KKB in a stock exchange filing.

The combined contract sum for both D28 Phase 1 and D18 Phase 2 projects is about RM226mil.

At 12.30pm, KKB was trading half a sen or 0.59% lower at 84.5 sen with a low volume of trade.
